So long as I can have a fruity rum drink :) As far as the thread topic in general... I think this site needs to adopt the following practices: 1. No disussions about anyone's bans and warnings by staff or by posters; 2. A Moderators gag order. I think it's bad form for a moderator to come to the boards and discuss the goings on with bans and warnings. I for one would like to know that if I ever had a dealing with a moderator in an official capacity, that what goes on stays private and is not posted on the boards. I've seen many threads where Moderators have openly discussed people's transgressions, their warnings, and subsequent bans. I don't think that is right at all :(

I totally agree with you Acadia! After last weeks Heartsong thread I thought the samething! Perhaps someone being banned is a hot topic, but it's not really a topic for the general public regardless of the issues or lack of issues or either sides opinions. I believe that the site can ban any member for any reason they want... It IS after all THEIR site isn't it? I like when the status keeps quoing along so I rarely try to rock the boat! Actually, I've been known to start the old Judy is "fill in the blank" conversations every now and again! I've rambled and pretty much gone way off topic! Sorry! I guess I wrecked this thread!! It should be locked I suppose!! ;) G

to thefixer - No, she can't. It is considered an abuse of Renderosity's Services. Once you've received a complete ban, that's it.

To make a long story short, Jackson, HeartSong had some fairy renders in her gallery that were removed for apparent TOS violations (the old "this-looks-like-an-underage-person-doing-what-s/he-hadn't oughta" thingie). There was a protest since these were old renders that the mods didn't seem to have a problem with before, and much B&M-ing from various parties. It eventually led to a banning. Others can fill you in on all the details. Me, I'd rather celebrate Spring. Tweet!Tweet!

Marque - You are correct. We do give repeated warnings, as well as 'lite' bannings, ranging from 24 hour to 7 day warnings. After that, you're banned for good. thefixer - I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you. (kidding). To be honest, since I'm just a coordinator, I don't know how the mods and admin do it. However, many people who create clone accounts after being banned cannot help bringing attention to themselves somehow. Jackson - it is confidential for me to discuss why Heart'Song was banned, but I'm sure someone around here is willing to beat a dead horse ;). Or, you can search the forum for her name. can someone pass me some popcorn? mebbe a beer? Or do I have to bring my own if I'm a coordinator?

Lets not forget the point of HeartSongs protest! She protested being falsely accused in a public forum, and asked that the defamatory statements be publicly retracted. The company refused. She asked that the staff adhere to the policies in their own TOS, which they havent. She asked that when moderators and administrators are chosen, they should be screened for fundamental skills: ability to read and write basic English, know the fundamentals of human anatomy, and be able to understand the terms of the TOS they are supposed to enforce. She asked that when the company has an official communication they send it from an official email address. These are the simple and reasonable requests for which HeartSong has been vilified and permanently banned.
