Fractals F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Aug 27 11:19 am)
If you just want to download .map files, here is a site with a zip download of over 1600 files: http://www.nahee.com/Fractals/FractInt/ Here are 2 software programs that generate the .map files: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Way/9943/c.htm http://members.tripod.com/~softwork/map/ Here is a tutorial on how to turn Apophysis generated gradients into .map files: http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/padleywood/palette.html Hope that helps!
Fractals will always amaze me!

I make my fractal designs with Chaoscope. It uses FractINT colormap gradients to color the designs. I'm getting bored with them because they are only 2-color combinations of the basic colors (red, blue, yellow, magenta, cyan, green). Does anyone know where I can find other FractINT color maps with more colors? Is there any way to create them?
