I guess he thinks faster than he types. As usual I'll go against the trend and choose the bottom. I think it works better as a postcard, I like the fact there is more of a scene and definately luv the way both swans have their heads tilted the same way. 2

If it helps, the blown out whites on the swan's backs are not as apparent on the second one. On the first, my eye gets drawn into all that white.

Ahhh, it all comes clear now. It makes me wonder if I should toggle the function in my camera to change the ratio to 2:3, but then I might miss something. ;]

I preferred the first.... but with all the extraneous clutter removed from the background on the second I now like that one better....
I am, therefore I create.......

Hey, what do I know... I have never tried a real live professional Nikon, for instance, with appropriate lenses. Just that Coolpix 8700 which is, ultimatively, nothing to write home about. My Olympus 5050 is better than that, although it has less megapixels. G6 is better than that. But I don't know the professional range of their cameras and lenses. Or Canon's, for that matter. I tried to get my grubby little hands on that professional 14 MP Kodak, but the distributor orders one only when somebody buys it. Which means, never, or maybe not even then. :-)
