I should also add that this cell shaded look is also possible, to some extend, with Vue 4, vue 5 and vue 4 professional.... except for the outline (although Vue 4 professional has a python script that does almost that). Vue Infinite just makes it a lot easier with the option to shade according to angle of incidence.

agiel, I have Vue Infinite, but how the hell do you make it look like a cartoon. I know about the python script to createthe black outline, but the textures are what I cannot work out, and I can't seem to find a tutorial, or explanation in the manual. If you have a page number in the manual I have missed, I'll be most greatful. Thanks Gareth:)
I am actually working on a tutorial :) All my screenshots are ready. I only have to find time to load them up and add comments.
any news about your tutorial? Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
A little bit more patience :) I just finished the tutorial and sent it for review. It should be available very shortly now.

I would like to see some examples of the way cel shading looks using Vue5 Infinite. I've heard about it, but can find no images or tutorials. Anybody out there try this yet? And can it be animated?
Inquiring minds want to know (before shelling out the $$$ for the sidegrade!)
;)
