THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: OT: chance to get your model made posable!

Hi all I recently bought amapi pro 7.5 and will be (very shortly) running it through its paces to see what's new and what I can do with it. To this end, I'd be willing to take an image of a model that you have created and model it, and poserize it. All you have to do it submit a drawing to this thread (or one of the others around the internet with this subject)... and I'll pick the one that I think will be the most fun to model and poserize. must be your original drawing..doesnt even have to be overly detailed because I reserve the right for artistic license. must be a character...not an item of clothing or a mechanical object (mechanical stuff is boringly easy to make with amapi, so I prefer characters) as you may have seen, I did this for Mugsey with the "latch worm" (mugsey, you can submit more drawings :)) so if you have a wild imagination and would like to have one of those critters in your brain come to life...here's the chance! Imagine everyone rendering something that came out of your head in bryce. :) BT

Is there a deadline before you make your decision on a submission? :-D

Is there any chance that you could do Mugsey's cockatrice? He's better at drawing them than I am.

Does 'mechanical' include robots? I have number 5 (third from left), I set him up as seperate parts, so arms, head, etc., can move. Just curious..;)

BT, Here's a basic quicky I did last night. All in all I've only ever seen one decent gargoyle & it was a static bust style. I'm sure you've seen that one. Give him a tail or not, horns or not, etc. Gargoyles vary quite a bit. If you would like the original PSD, I saved both, which would allow you just the B&W. ICM

Here is a rough sketch of something I was going to do. Wish I could pose my figures.

Hi all I cant do "copyrighted" characters..because I'd like this to be available to the community when done. I would like to add that you can do anything with the model you wish when done...including sell it. All I want is my name in the readme... pakled, the gargoyle would be a lot of fun to make, but pure h-e-double-toothpicks to pose. Wings are such a pain in the arse :)...but Im not crossing him of the "possible" list, because the poser community could definately benefit from a cool gargoyle character. Its one of those things that ya just dont see. Kinda like a poser elephant...used to be you couldnt find one. I made two (a cartoon and a real one) then they started popping out of the woodwork. I like KeeCoyote's character..there are several out there that are interesting to me so I'll wait to see what else comes up before deciding on anything. as for a deadline? I dont want to set a final date because when I have the time to do this, I'll want to start right then. :) But I'd say ASAP. Any kind of drawing, anything to help me see what you see in your mind's eye. Doesnt have to be a pure work of art. :) BT
