This is the sort of thing the PoserTECH list was created for. It crosses "party" lines so to speak. We have members from Renderosity, PFO and 3Dcommune all in one place. I've explored some of these concepts already and you can find the results in the Files section of the list site. Try the "Dial-a-Prop" and "Dial-A-Hair" files I created. The only problem I've come across with them is that they lose their OBJ pointers when resaved to the library. And yes, your switched out geometry can contain different materials than the original. Haven't tried the whole body switch though, I think I'll leave that to someone else for now ;-) -JeffThis site uses cookies to deliver the best experience. Through experimentation in developing my newer products like the EveryBed, I have discovered alot of neat tricks in Poser, like swapping geometry like the map hip. And morph shaping props before final export. Here are some ideas I haven't yet explored. ANy one else have ideas or theories about these: 1) Geom swapping an entire figure and not just a body part. In the "body" section like the full figure morphs. 2) Geom swapping identical meshes with different materials so you can turn a dial dial up a texture. 3) Loading avi files as textures 4) Geom swapping code on prop files, like my bed frames, but for hats and shoes. 5) Saving backgrounds into the library. I got it to work by pating the.pz3 data into a .pps file but CR2 edit could no it regularly. What did we miss? 6) Multiple figure cr2's. I know there are tomes of secret possibilities there somewhere. hmmmm. Poser can be used in ways the programmers never intended. I', eager to push it further. Any thoughts, tricks, or theories?
