Hi Kristta... Nice to hear about the UPS guys! I live on the Gulf Coast too and it's coming down in buckets! They are predicting 15 inches and no end in sight. The yard is almost all underwater now. We didn't have this much rain with hurricanes last year. Glug!! Stay dry!

Nice story. As a person in the service industry, you might try copying and pasting (and filling out a few extra blanks) in the link provided. I'm sure it will mean much more to UPS there than here. I salute anyone who takes the time to compliment something (as opposed to those who only speak to complain). Me and UPS? I remember the look on the driver's face when I ran outside barefooted in the rain near Christmas (this year) to personally hand over his Christmas card (with a bit extra in it *wink*).You know why that story will thrill UPS? They have a commercial running about it!!! Weather man yellinginto the mike about the deluge, giving wind readings, 'worst storm in year' All the while, you see the UPS truck pull up at a building behind the reporter and deliver a package in the pouring rain. I second sending in compliment...it's a good thing. ::::: Opera :::::
Lol, I'm in the same area, I recieved mine today too! My UPS delivery lady is just the coolest woman ever.
I'm on the alabama/florida line of the Gulf of Mexico, and heavens... The entire road to work was flooded out almost entirely and I have two ways of getting to the main road from my house. Well today I only had one. And yes, I made it to work thinking 'oh, it won't be so bad'. 10 straight feet of at least 6 inches of water is not fun to drive a a small car through! wide eyed nod

I live in Vancleave, Ms. Southern and eastern most county in the state. Mobile, Al opened it's flood gates today and unfortunately, all that water heads into my county when they do that. I live about 40 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico. Right now, there is absolutely NO way to get south from my house. They have closed all roads going south. No way to a hospital even. We went down a little while ago to see how high Bluff Creek was and it was more than waist deep. Since we can no longer go any where at all, I will be staying home to play with P6. This is the worst flooding in my area since 1986. None of the hurricanes for the last 18 years have dropped this much water. Heading off to that link above to thank UPS for keeping me busy for a while during this! Kristta PS Good luck to everyone who is down this way and getting soaked. We had 40 mile an hour winds and golf ball sized hail this morning at about 3am so all those in Florida, watch out.
My UPS agent went above and beyond the call of duty, also, although he didn't have to deal with flood waters or gale-force winds. Minutes before I had to depart on business, he hand-delivered my copy of P6 directly to my doorstep, a feat that generally requires a map and compass, or at the very least a machete.

I have to post this. I fully admire the guys in the US that drive those big brown trucks and wear those horrible brown uniforms. I've been tracking my P6 shipment and it was due here today. Well, yesterday, it started raining. Ok, not raining but downpouring and it never let up. The skies are just now clearing. I live on the Gulf of Mexico and we literally have the worst flooding that this area has seen in 15 to 20 years. The flooding from this deluge of rain has been worse than the last two hurricanes combined. I had a final at school today that was cancelled. I had to get a ride home from a guy in a boat. My house is high and dry but the cars and trucks aren't going any where because the water is so high every where else. Imagine my surprise, when UPS pulled up, waded through knee high water and handed me my Poser 6. A huge thank you to the men and women in brown who work for UPS. Kristta
