Subject: Another question about Poser textures...

I was playing with adding some bump functions to obtain a realistic bump for Poser skin textures, but at no avail... Some suggestions? Thank You!

Could you please clarify which version do you use (Vue 5 or Vue Infinite)? Otherwise it's a little bit difficult to help. ;)

Right... Vue 5. :)

Have you downloaded the actual update from e-on's website. Maybe this fixes your issue. I'm on Vue5Infinite so I can only guess what's wrong.

Now I got it. ;) I usually set the bump gain to 0.1 or even lower depending on the POV and size of the figure. I also edit the highlights, since the imported figures usually have a dark grey which makes the skin look kinda dull. You might also have a look at Djeser's skin mat settings thread at: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=1281461 Hope this helps. :) Phil

...one more thing. I usually use the bumpmaps that come with the figure and if none is available I use the color map as a bump map as well.
