Remember that Poser is NOT I repeat, NOT a raytracer. So things like reflections, refraction, and volumetrics can not be done in Poser. bryce IS a raytracer, so it does all of these and more, but (there's always a but), there are no "soft" shadows in Bryce. This to me is a major drawback. And it is true that Bryce may take longer to render, but it's because it has so many more calculations because it IS a true raytracer. Hope this helps. James

Hi folks, thanks for all the help you gave me in previous postings. So, here's one more :-) In an interior scene with a human model, some walls and lights, where can I get the most perfect/detailed rendering? In Poser or Bryce? And is it true that Poser is much faster rendering? Thanks in advance, LV
