Generally speaking, you won't find photorealistic textures for free. They take too much work. If you're willing to spend money, though, there are very realistic textures in the store. For free textures, check out Vali's. Though it's best to check early in the month, before her bandwidth is exceeded.
I'm lost when people say "photo realistic". To me so long as the skin doesn't look smooth and shiney like a doll, and has some texture to it like skin normally has, it's "photo realistic". Now whether that's the criteria of "photo realistic", I don't know. Anyway, if you are looking for beautifully textured V3 character addons to buy, two of my favourites are "Cassidy" and "Shiloh".

Photorealistic means just that - when rendered, it's hard to tell it's not a photo.
Personally, I prefer painted textures. My style is not photorealistic, generally. But a lot of people love those photorealistic textures, and the price for them is generally higher.
Examples of photoreal textures: SteffyZZ's, and the "Hypereal" textures by Morris and Face_off.

If you have more time than money, Face_off has a tutorial for Poser 5 to make the skin look more realistic. It is easier to buy the product my Face_Off and Morris, but you could do a lot on your own with some patience (guess what I lack).Message edited on: 04/14/2005 22:08

Yikes!!!! Understatement of the year!:Quote - this is WAY the most complex part. If you make it though this section, the rest will be a breeze

*"you won't find photorealistic textures for free"* perhaps not but one can't come much closer then those by Mystic Fantasy!!Attached Link: http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=909322&Start=1&Artist=dlfurman&ByArtist=Yes
Following the Tutorial is not that hard! I purhcased both Real/HyperShaders for the ability to ADJUST the settings."Few are agreeable in conversation, because each thinks more of what he intends to say than that of what others are saying, and listens no more when he himself has a chance to speak." - Francois de la Rochefoucauld
