Mordikar, the 'initValue' (contrary to what the name sugests) is NOT the value that the channel/dial will have when the character is first loaded. It is the value that the channel will revert to when you use Restore > Element, or Restore > Figure is used from the edit menu.
The value that the channel will have when you load the cr2 is the second number in the 'k' line, the number in red below:
targetGeom heroineHip<br></br> {<br></br> name heroHip<br></br> initValue 0<br></br> hidden 0<br></br> forceLimits 4<br></br> min -100000<br></br> max 100000<br></br> trackingScale 0.0143513<br></br> keys<br></br> {<br></br> static 0<br></br> k 0 <br></br> }<br></br> interpStyleLocked 0<br></br> valueOpDeltaAdd<br></br> Figure 2<br></br> BODY:2<br></br> SuperHero<br></br> deltaAddDelta 1.000000<br></br> indexes 723<br></br> numbDeltas 945<br></br> deltas <br></br> {
The first number in the 'k' line is the frame number, used in animations.
The simple way to have a character load with the morphs set to 1.000 is to set the dials to 1.000, then resave the character back to the pallet. But be aware that any morphs (deltas to be more precise) you have injected into the character (if your using charactrers such as V3) will also be saved, so its better to set the dials, then save, before you inject anything.
You may also like to research Full Body Morphs (FBM) which can also be usefull in this type of situation. Message edited on: 04/18/2005 15:28
