Subject: What is the best application for developing content for DS?

I currently have MAX and am considering Lightwave. What is the best app for creating content models? Characters and clothing?

It all depends on what you're comfortable with. I've seen people create some really cool things with Wings3D, and I've seen people create really bad things in Lightwave. The program is (sort of) irrelevant. It's all about how you use it. ;) Creating content for D|S is, I believe, exactly like creating content for Poser. If it's clothing for a character, it has to have the correct morphs, move correctly, fit correctly, etc. Another great place to ask would be in the Developer's Forum. They are a great bunch of people, and really helpful. MS

If you already have Max, I would suggest you stick with what you know. Jim Burton uses max and does everything from clothing to morphs to entire figures with it. I wish I had the cash for Max. Id be a happy camper! Good luck.
