Marque ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 4:25 PM

Man, it won't render, but it sure is different than it used to be....arrrgghhh! Marque

ninhalo5 ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 4:33 PM

does that on reg poser 4... yeah it would be nice if they are going to put something in a program to make it work huh? :o)

TBKoen ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 4:36 PM

Poser4 already had it;) It isn't the pro pack. And don't worry!!! MASA is gonna save us;)

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 4:39 PM

Just saw that...actually it seems to do a cleaner job than in the regular poser, might just be me. Marque

TBKoen ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 4:45 PM

Yeah! It's like a dream coming true=) I think that's because he made it from line-polygon to normal square polygon or something!!!

TBKoen ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 4:48 PM

But...Who cares;p I looks great. This is gonna take poser into a whole new dimension

TRAVISB ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 5:26 PM

hey i love the new pro pack but did you guys see the post i put below for some reason i think the pro pack is fliping polygon normals on certain custom figures?

TRAVISB ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 5:27 PM

sorry iposted it in poser tech forum check it out tell me what you think

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 6:07 PM

I saw that, wonder what's up with it? Marque

timoteo1 ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 6:09 PM

Are you talking about a "TreeMaker" window that comes up?? I don't have the Pro Pack, but it works in Poser 4.02 as well. What is the value of this little, I assume, hidden feature.

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 7:02 PM

Right, it's been there, just can't really be used, but it appears that Maz has stumbled on to a way to convert the polygons so it can be used. 8^) Marque

nervax ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 7:22 PM

This is real cool and all but where does one find this? Where do I go to type this in? 8-0

nervax ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 7:29 PM

Scratch that last post! Freaky results!

TRAVISB ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 7:36 PM

maroue the problem seems to be with how pp handles the morps i did test render on girldriends poser standard version and posted a pic with the same file no holes this is bad news as all my characters are heavily morphed

TRAVISB ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 7:37 PM

damn i cant spell tonight

Fox-Mulder ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 10:14 PM

I'm getting some nice Sketch Renders with this...

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 10:40 PM

that sucks Travis

Marque ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 10:44 PM

I was under the impression though that setup area was for boning new characters...can't you do your morphs after you bone and set up the character you are making? Maybe I'm not understanding what you're using the setup area for? 8^| Marque

TRAVISB ( ) posted Thu, 01 February 2001 at 10:58 PM

im sorry i wasnt talking about the set up room. The problem im having is in the regular poser room, somone asked me earlier about the bone room, sorry for the confusion there is definatly a problem. The characters that are screwing up are poser characters just with morphs added i' ve had them for a while if you go back to poser tech i put up some more pic and tried it on my girlfriends comp if you want to see what im talking about download my tsao character in free stuff and render it without the pants he comes out fine but if you do it in pro hes messed up

At least MASA made that great dropmaker program that uses the poser4 hair feature.
