At the beginning of the cr2 you will see: actor rFoot:3 (the 3 can be any number. But note what # it is.) Seach for: Figure 3 (or whatever number is being used) That will take you to all the erc paragraphs.

I don't have that product. It can be rigged different ways. They might have erc the shoes to the female figure directly. Serch for: Figure 3 or Figure 1 I would need to see that section. it will show you what dial is being slaved to what.

Ok... I was looking around the cr2 a little. The whole bottom part of the sandal is toe and the strap is the only part that is foot. They really aren't using any erc. There is a PBM for the foot and toe called GetaSandals, but it's not slaved to any of the rotation channels. The sandal works simply by bending the toe body part. There aren't any blocks so the sandal will go the other way to... meaning it will go right through the foot if the toes are bent down. The bend channel of the toes use a spherical falloff zone that contains the entire bottom part of the sandal so it will bend it as a single piece.
Thanks EdW, Now that makes sense. I figured that it might be something along that line since there were no ERC/JCM channels for that. Just out of curiousity, how could I make a "block" so that the sole does not protude through the foot? Would this be simple to do, or does that involve quantum nuclear mechanics ;)? Thanks, -The Starkdog
Just a guess here, but I think I'd make a morph to bend the toe part of the sandal down and leave the rest as is. Slave it to the bend channel using a valueparm to limit the morph so it only works when the foot is bent down. Shouldn't be too hard to do... but then some things that should be easy aren't when it comes to Poser:)
