Subject: Greyscale gradients (ugr format)

I got bored today and decided to fiddle around with doing some greyscale stuff in Apophysis...

I made a few gradients in ApoMap and saved them to a .ugr file.

If anyone would like some halfway decent greyscale gradients - feel free to drop on by my little webpage and grab the small zip file...

http://www.woosie.net/greyscale/greyscale.htm

There is also a link on that page that will take you to a showcase page where you can see what the gradients look like when applied.

Enjoy!

WOW, thanks, Tracey!!! That is such a wonderful compliment especially coming from someone with your infinate knowledge of fractals. I wish that I had just a tad of what you know and can do!!!

Ummmm... how about blind luck and a lot of spare time on my hands?

Honestly, I'm not all that knowledgeable about fractals and fractal art at all - I just love messing about with Apophysis, trying different settings, different gradients, etc... it's all about fiddling is all...

As for UF - I can't get that to do anything at all! I'm very slowly trying to get through the tutorials for it, but I'm still totally confused... lol! I'd love to be able to do anything in UF even one quarter as nice as the stuff I see in the gallery here.

Trust me CoolBreezeLady - you have more talent in your little finger than I'll ever have... I'd love to know how you do your "constellation" series - those are the most gorgeous flames I've EVER seen!
