THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: General Praise for the Bryce Community

I've used Bryce quite a bit (a few years ago now) and I know of its limitations (especially in modelling). With that in mind I would like to extend my praise and gratitude to the Bryce community here at Renderosity. It can be hit and miss in all of the other galleries as to whether I will find much of anything to pique my interest in any given day. On the other hand, it seems that, almost daily, some fantastic new image is being posted in the Bryce Gallery. I suppose it may be do to the proliferation of Bryce (probably more Bryce users here than any other software package) but I think it's more. I don't know what the 'more' is, but some of the absolute best images on Renderosity are coming from the Bryce community. Way to go. Top drawer work folks. I always look forward to checking out the Bryce gallery. Some favorites of late: "Lonely Leaf" by SeagramPearce http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=957625&Start=19&Sectionid=2&filter_genre_id=0&WhatsNew=Yes A bunch of stuff by Sbleci http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=sbleci Check them out (I'm sure you already have) This is just the tip. Freakin' great folks. Thanks.

Thank you KH, and...You're welcome. This is a great community of people. Probably neck-n-neck with Vue patron wise, where Poser is much more popular within Rosity. Can't put my finger on it after 4 years, however a safe bet would probably be a combination of affordability and ease of use in the beginning. Over the long haul is when it gets more complex, trying to squeek every inch out of it. There surely is some phenominal talent here. From the looks of your gallery, you have real knack for it too. Some nice Maya stuff also. Thanks Again ICM

Aye, I'm fairly certain there are more Poser users than anything, but this community IS a wonderful asset! And I haven't seen any others for any other app that even come close... We get things done, around here!

Yah. Hadn't thought of Poser. I generally think of it as an addition to a software package, rather than a stand-alone suite. Great stuff out of Poser is much less common than Bryce.

I agree with you there 100%! And a good Bryce-work definitely takes a lot more energy than Poser is capable of... Characters I pose in Poser just end up in Bryce, anyway, for rendering!
