do you like this one? I also created the poser 5 cat animation that I only mixed with a montage program. You have to save target as to view it or copy and paste http://www.polymage.com/temp/cat_avi.aviMessage edited on: 05/24/2005 21:28

It's very, very good! I don't think Poser 4 can be bullied into rendering better than this. Poser 5 (and now 6) have a more advanced render engine, and it's possible to get better renders than your link. richardson has done some pretty amazing stuff. So have face_off, templargfx, RGUS, all pure Poser renders. And I'm rather happy with my latest too (see link). Sorry for the plug ;)The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter

SPAM> I'm always partial to my stuff... at least I know how much went into it.I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

My best effort so far - Pure PPP http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=212859&Start=1&Artist=leather%2Dguy&ByArtist=YesI can't call mysef a "Poser purist", as I do use postwork if/when neccesary....but generally after (x) hours of brainstrain + who knows how many render crashes, I usually just too lazy to do postwork. Anywho...I kinda fond of this one; http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=473344 As fer my other 2 cents, I personally believe that "massive postwork images" (i.e; painted clothes/ hair, "important effects" to an image, etc.) belong in the multimedia gallery, as it combines techniques unique to separate programs. But WTF do I know? I believe NVIATWAS is a artform, too ;-)

Cinema4D Plugins (Home of Riptide, Riptide Pro, Undertow, Morph Mill, KyamaSlide and I/Ogre plugins) Poser products Freelance Modelling, Poser Rigging, UV-mapping work for hire.
I rarely do any painted postwork,I do use actions and hue adjustmentsalmost always though. the only times I do painted postwork is if I get a model with bad joints. -3DZ

I have a lot of trouble with creating anything and get easily frustrated. If I can get something I'm happy with, good. The main thing is the only thing I use PSP for is to make thumbnails. I've got one image where I tried painting hair and I've done a couple of poser to bryce things (not sure they are in my gallery). I guess I believe that a product should work well as a stand alone product.
At the begining I was sure I won't ever need any postwork. And then my Posette' breasts were rendered octagonally. I almost fainted and quickly learned how to make minor postwork to hide broken/blocky mesh and so on. I don't have abilities that would allow me to use Poser as stand-alone. (And I don't have compy good enough to use V3 instead of good old Posette).

it's nice to make images without postwork, and most of the time i don't bother, as in the link below http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=963908&Start=217&Sectionid=1&filter_genre_id=0&WhatsNew=Yes the only postwork is my name... (if that counts)lol...
Getting old and still making "art" without soiling myself, now that's success.

My postwork is usually limited to compositing multiple renders. IMO, the linked pic is one of my best "Pure Poser" images. No compositing, no painting, a single render pass with a heck of a lot of pre-work. Oh yeah, not work friendly - there's a nekkid woman in there!Coppula eam se non posit acceptera jocularum.

Would this Kozaburo image be considered the best Poser rendered image that hasn't been postworked in another program or rendered in another application?
