Great News !! Lets see if it works as promised....

Kingfisher ( ) posted Wed, 25 May 2005 at 11:56 AM

Just go to www.e-frontier.com & follow the links. Installed without a problem. Sorted out one of the problems I had when using large animation files & lack of response from the keyframe editor. Keyframe editor responses immediately

blue2000 ( ) posted Wed, 25 May 2005 at 11:58 AM

Got it now to see the difference i hope.

Kingfisher ( ) posted Wed, 25 May 2005 at 11:59 AM

Otaku Check again. I know after I dowmloaded & went back it only showed two files available. But or revisiting it was back.

I suppose that "soon" meant "soon" after all.......

I'll have to wait until late tonight to download this and try it out.

Thanks to EF (formerly CL) for getting the first service release out to the user base.

Ya done good.

I'll reserve judgement on the effectiveness of it all until after I've had a chance to work with SR1 for a while.

This makes me happy.

Now we can all start whining/making legitimate complaints (depending upon approach & attitude) about SR2!!!!!!!!

Wonderful!!!

Thanks again.

I'll tell you right now, it doesn't matter when or if they come out with Poser 7. 6 is gonna be the last version I ever buy. I'm done with those idiots. Kate the Fed Up Consumer

Ah, that would explain it. Only see the Content updaters in there ATM. BTW - I understand the desire to prevent piracy by requiring a serial # and all if one isn't already registered with the CP site, but what of us who prefer to suck down files on a fat, juicy fiber connection @ work (w/ permission of course), instead of a slower home connection? Run home and get the serial #? /P

Puntomaus ( ) posted Wed, 25 May 2005 at 1:15 PM

I am not sure where you found that SR1 but on EFs site is nothing about the SR1, only a link to the Content Updater and on Content Paradise is nothing either.

Ummm ... maybe it's a game and they test my intelligence. Maybe I am only eligible to get the updater when I am able to find the hidden files?

And I wish they would stop putting the objects of their freebies into the character folder. I wonder if they forgot that P5 and P6 allow subfolders and when I stuff it where I want to have it I have to edit the object and texture path each time >:(

XENOPHONZ ( ) posted Wed, 25 May 2005 at 1:18 PM

Run home and get the serial #? That's what I am probably going to have to do. That's OK. DSL at the office, cable at home. I don't have Poser here anyway, so it doesn't matter. It'll take maybe a little over a minute to download 24megs at home.

Determined that pretty quick, didn't you?

I'll reserve judgement on whether or not it works until after I've used it for 3-4 days or so.

You might want to run a check on your C: drive......one never can tell what the results will be with these untested patches.........
