yah it is a bit weird :( it should be based on how much the object moves over time of the animation set for it, but... shrugs Perosnally I find it better to make the blur in Paint Shop so I can be precise.

Okay the blur of the cobras is flat/side on view, your first has a 3/4 profile with some yaw( i Think)that gives it dimension...in the cobras the blades are on top of each other and the mass negates almost all colour in the blade plane (too much dark space) and remeber the blades cantor/angle to get more lift/power...R
