Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 02 10:01 am)
Hi Mychelle,
Hither & yon. ..... ah yes ...
It means ... Here & there.
The hither controls the near (or here) "clipping plane" ... that is, where things in the studio (unrendered) become visible.
The yon controls the far (or there) "clipping plane" ... where things (unrendered) become visible.
Hither and yon are "don't cares" when rendered.
They can be used to "mask" near and far areas in unrendered pictures to reduce the "clutter" and allow you to see a certain area more clearly.
cheers,
dr geep

Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"
cheers,
dr geep ... :o]
