I don't understand what you mean about not being able to do animations. Why would morphs matter? You mean capes and such?
I look at it like this. Even if you only convert props and a few items, it has already paid for itself in savings.

There's an option to convert to a figure without welding then you can transfer morphs via MorphManager and weld the mesh. And you can only transfer the morphs you really use and not all which is a plus. You can also convert to prop and make it dynamic - even better for animations. And both creators are accessible on the Yahoo Group for WW and constantly there answering any questions that may come up - couldn't ask for better support :)
Kalypso, have you done this? I had asked over there and was told that it didn't. Not that it matters, I bought a few minutes ago and checked here while waiting for the D/L link. Which may be tomorrow, I do think Phil sleeps sometimes. Anton, check the marketplace here for As Shanim or pretty3d. You will understand what I mean. If MM does work I'll be doing the Snoopy Dance.
I bought it and so far have tried it briefly. Attempted to transfer one of BatLab's outfits from V3 to S3P and it worked ok, a bit of a problem between the breasts but probably fixable using mags... decided to try it a second time using what I had learned from the first attempt and it crashed. I'll give it another try tomorrow when I'm more awake.
Oh I see. Simulated dynamics through morphs. Well there are alwasy going to be gaps. But like I said, even if you convert only a few standard things for a figure or two, it has paid for itself. I currently have nothing other than Apollomax installed. I might reinstall Mike 2 to test all my old Mike2 clothes that were in the Platinum Club. They didn't have morphs anyway so it will be fun to see the result, escpecialy on the ninja suit.

Grrr, I had a nice, detailed answer typed out and then the Rosity server ate it :( Anyway, here's the gist: Now that I tried it with As Shanim's EveryDay Vest the morphs transfer fine and the morphs on the abdomen work perfectly but the chest morphs explode. I guess for your needs beryld, it's not that functional. However, I see Phil and Kamilche still working on it so there's hope :) Oh, and I even tried it on a S3 that had one of Wyrmmaster's magnet sets with lots of tweaking by me and the converted the V3 Harem Dancer outfit to her and conformed just fine, so it works great on already morphed figures even those morphed with magnets.
I think it means all the clothing that doesn't have morphs will suddenly be attractive and people will buy it knowing they can make it fit their morphed characters, and also a lot of free stuff will become more attractive for the same reason. If it works fairly well it will make such a huge difference in our little poser world. Well I'm waiting for my registration key, (phil wake up!) so I can try it out. Say Anton, those diamond thingies for V2 are figures aren't they (I'll have to check). My V3 could do with some diamonds. So Anton, when is appolomax coming out? He looks rather yummy? Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
But as soon as you morph the figure, don't you have a dilema since there are no morphs on the WW'd clothes to make adjustments with. Now, I don't see this as a problem, more of a limitation since morphs are morphs (strictly dependent upon the geometry in use). Magnets? What are magnets? The only thing that I use magnets for are picking up string vibrations and pounding them out an amplifier. Methinks Dynamic cloth may be the only solution to 'after-fitting' the conform-fitted clothes when morphs are involved. On a side note, I do love that among the examples of conforming a dress is Don. I always knew he was a crossdresser! ;)

esther, Yes the diamonds may work since they are figures. Some are changing geom and I don't know how that works though with Wardrobe Wizard. But yes, Diamonds should eb convertable. You'd have to try it and see. But it's why I always said props are better as cr2's. All the power is in the cr2.

OK I'm awake again [blink] and answering email. Its been a very hectic weekend :)
Some issues? Yes but all addressable and more to the point are being addressed. The public beta was a great help so our thanks again for those who participated. Did anyone view the on screen videos yet?
Be sure to vote in the Yahoo forum for which figure you want included next.

I must say, this is the greatest thing since sliced bread! In less time than it took to say "Quidditch" I had the Biker Jacket converted from M3 to a perfect fit for HarryDavid. I also converted PhilC's V3 corset and stockings to fit SnapeM3, the scary result can be seen in my gallery here (scary because of the content, the clothes fit PERFECTLY!) THANKS PHIL! And Kamilche too!FREEBIES! | My Gallery | My Store | My FB | Tumblr |
You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.

Here's the link. I don't think PhilC bothered trying to market it much as he knows almost every single poser user around the world is going to buy it anyway and he probably didn't want to be swamped to early. well that' smy guess. Love estherI aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
I want this so bad it's killing me and I just don't have the money right now. It will be next week maybe when I can get it. Is it very hard to use or fairly simple? I need the fairly simple. I've tried clothing converter and the tailer and I just can't get the hang of those. Any tutorials out there showing how to use it?
...and hopefully soon in P6, when SR1 is available.
I just got my registration code and had to try it out. I can't believe how easy it is! I was a little skeptic first, I have tried other applications (for PC) that promise to convert clothes with a few clicks. I'm impressed by the results of Wardrobe Wizard - like Anton said above, this is going to be a classic.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
Like any utility there are good and bad things about it, but when you consider the price, and the cost of clothing, converting 4 or 5 things successfully makes it pay for itself. Is it the final solution? Nope. Is it much easier and a good solution for many items? Yep! As Anton said, it's a good useful tool, much like UTC.
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.
If you have a skirt that you want to stay on the figure during an animation (or even in a still image) you need morphs or magnets to adjust its hang. By default WW leaves the morphs behind, though there is an option to work around that apparently, so you'd have to use magnets to pull the skirt around the legs. Items like trousers that conform all over would work fine in animations.
"In post #3 is said 'you can't do animations'. I have some plans for WW but need to have the clothes stay on in animations. So, will the clothes not stay on in animations without going through cloth room?" Tiny, they are conforming. They stay on the figure and normal group movement. You just lose all the cloth morphs, eg. lift skirt right, open blouse front, and so on. Mind I'm still trying to D/L the app. I was thinking the cloth room and magnets might be used to create some of the morphs. They wouldn't be the same as the original morphs.
Lyne, not sure I'm following you correctly here, but you can just use your credit card...you don't need to use PayPal.

I'm still waiting as well...I know Phil is working on the latest update and getting that all set up...so it will probably be awhile.

You know. I think this has got be be one of the coolest things is a long time for Poser.
One of the testers sent me this quickie pic and Phil showed me one of the Tux when he incorprated Apollomax into the program.
I am just so impressed with creative stuff like this. I know it isn't the same as custom items neccesarily, but I think this is just so inspiring.
What is so impressive to me is Apollomax is designed as different from the the standard as the MilDragon is to the cat. And still it works. Now if Phil ads the HouseMouse it can have clothes too. :)
Just like the texture convertor Darkwhisper did, I think this one is going to be a classic.
Kudos to PhilC and Kamilche
