Sorry to say... on my monitor it looks pretty smooth. I can't realy see the texture if it is there. The base tone looks still too pink to me... I do pale nordic types with a bluish or slight greenish cast, sometimes as a low ambient color that serves a duel purpose as giving fill in the shadows. Before I had good comercial textures I used add plain old noise to my maps to give the sense of blue blood vessles beneath the skin... the trick was scaling properly... it did not render well so I would anti-alias the preview and composit that to a non-noise texture render. I had a thread up a few weeks ago about doing procedural only skin textures. This was before I had purchased Realskin Shader. I can't rember what my thread was called but you could search on my name and see if you can find it. Face_off and other responded. What thread are you refering to about making fixed textures from Hyper-real? I would like to see it but don't know what to search on.
Looks very plain to me. No freckles, bumps, nothing. You could add some variety to it. Especially face looks like it's covered using paint bucket. Nice for a starter, but it needs lots of work. Sorry for being picky, but that's how I see it. Good luck :)
