Thought that some of you might be interested in viewing this image at http://www.greenworks.de/greenWeb2/Templates/start.html Click on the image to have a closer view of the tree. The trees is from Xfrog3 library collection and rendered very well in Vue. Bill

It looks great Bill. Nice car too ;) But the last time I tried to make a plant in xtree it looked like a mutant from an alien planet....and no matter HOW much I drank........it didn't look any better ;) So unless you have a magic wand or some inside secrets you can share with me....... it looks great but I can't make it work :(** Bear in mind though...this is only MY experience with it. I have seen some AWESOME work done in this app!!!! It must be my naturally blonde roots I guess......they must clash with the greeness of the plants. LOL Beck

Hi Beck, Modeling in Xfrog3 three is something that you can't just jump in. If you follow the tutorial, you would then know what is going on. The rest is knowing how to 'control' it in what you going to model. One think though, if you loose control, creating abstract object model is very natural with it...LOL! I was trying to create (nodel) a hibiscus once and the five petals looks like a handkerchief ripped by a gollira or something....LOL Bill

Bill.....I am SO GLAD you had the same kind of experience......I thought it was ONLY me LOL Thankyou for sharing that with me!!! I will try again I guess :) beck

Yeah, me too, actually. I ended up making these medieval torture chamber types of things. Not intentionally, of course, LOL. I was only using the demo, but I was very impressed with the trees from the library, and even in demo mode, they're exportable. I don't know the legality of using the exports in pictures after the demo times out, so I haven't used them even though I still have them. XFrog is definitely on my list of things to get though, soon. Thanks Bill, and cool pic too. I like the little XFrog logo on the tag on the front of the car. :) --Mike

Don't forget the blue gunk, too! My poor XFrog trees ALWAYS have troubles with the foliage! The app is very powerful, though, and I wish E-On fixes the bug soon!! Bye Daniele

This tree was full of it. I manage to get away with it by 'tunning' each of the component with the fade out and light colour. Don't work with all the trees though. Bill
