OOOH what a cool thread!!! Love that horse pic by the way, hillarious, LOL!!! Like Pascale, i have many personal favorites. Some i only like due to the amount of time i spent on postworking them, some i like just cause i didnt have to postwork them at all...and so on...but this i suppose is one of the ones i like the most. How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

I think for me it has to be this pic - I was packing up and walking back to the car after shooting loads of pictures in these woods and I took one "snap" shot at these folks, and it turned out to be my favorite of the day!Goes to show the best shots can be the ones you are least expecting :)
Maybe one of the mods could make a small gallery where each of these Favorites can have a permanent home? :)

This is my favorite because the shot was spontaneous and it was the first I really liked with my new camera. The conditions weren't the best. Lots of postwork to clone out a big metal sprinkler head and no frame, but it's just so darn cute! Besides, I don't have all that many to choose from yet. :) This is a great thread. Very interesting. :)~Damia~ LeviathanPhotography

This is about my only "landscape" ready to be a favorite of mine. I suppose the "being there" has to do with this being a personal favorite. I started to post the portraits of the family cats..a personal project to get good images of these parts of the family while still with us. Well, this time, the landscape won. The cats know their pics are good enough..that is why they posed with total cooperation. The mountain posed too, standing very still for the shot. You folks have inspired me with the wonderful examples of photography done well. Interesting to "choose" one of our own. thanks, I now have some galleries to visit and comment. Tom.This thread is TOO cool...love seeing all you favs! Hmmm...Here are a few of my SLEEPERS

Mods, re post 15, that is not a bad idea. When an artist has to choose his or her own favorite that is a different process totally. The results here are speaking outloud to really good stuff. Then again..... Well, back to visiting some galleries I have discovered more fully in this thread. Pascale, you have one and will find it! I am sure of that. TomD'Art. (I love doing my name like that..personal thing ; )
This is for Jeroen. I could not respond on photo-genesis. So here is the bold statement about your wonderful and yes, superb image: This is a macro. It has to be macro! That is what you do...tell me, did you find a wee tiny forest for this macro shot? That has to be the answer I will live with. Maybe in your homeland such tiny forests do exist... ; ) Thanks, Tom.

Well the pic I am most proud of...is called,"That which can't be titled".It's in my gallery. But I don't think this is the place to show it.For those who don't know,it's very emotional and not easy to look at.I was even conflicted about uploading it in the first place. So I contacted the two people I knew at the time who would give me an honest opinion. They were also the first two artists I met here who took the time to 'hold my hand' and encourage me.They were Cynlee and Zacko,(Cindy and Andreas). They both felt I should share it.And I'm soooo glad I did.The outpouring of love was amazing....That's my greatest pic....okay second,is my pic of my girls.Love this one.I called it my greatest art, because they are and always will be the single greatest thing I have ever 'done'...Marlene <")

We do have a permanent home already for your favorite photos you do.... It's the Photography Gallery.
Least that is where all my favorites go.

I don't know if this is my best shot, but my favorite.Something in these images just "speak" to me! I have many favorites so it was hard for me to choose!
The reflections in this image make it a favorite!
Blue Cypress VII
Just the overall composition makes this one a favorite, not that I could ever hate any image in this series!
Blue Cypress XVII
A completely accidental image, it wasn't intended the way it turned out!
Wading In The Salt Marsh
Sunset Ala Brenda! Not sure I could do any better!
Water Colors IV
OK last one, the fact that I am in love with the coloring in this sunrise image!

jacoggins and TheSecond, These are nice images. No, I don't know what the "ball" is but it might not be a ball at all...but if not a tupperware lid I go for old pingpong ball. TheSecond, I like this image. The highlights on the nose bridge and left arm make it work, while she is still not shadowed out. This thread has been, IS now lots of fun and revealing of the talent here. Peace to all. TomDart.

This is one of my favorite personal shots. Sure, I have some better and more artful, etc., etc. Still, for some reason I do like this one. Wanna post one of your personal favs? That would be fun to see. TomDart. aka TomD'Art. LOL
