Why does it look so crappy in Poser 5.. Using either Firefly or Standard renderer the main body texture is very, very dark brown... instead of white... I have mucked with the material settings to no avail... Cheers/Thanks.

It's possible the normals are reversed.

I have it and I do not have that issue. Are your lights correct? The one issue I do have with the figure is the included Poses recenter the figure on me.

I have tried standard lights, global lights, etc... the wings/tail look ok.. the rest is a murky dark chocolate color... Thanks, I will keep mucking with it tonight..

Can you post a render? Often seeing it tells people more than reading a verbal description.

It looks like the texture is not applied to the rest of the body. Don't know how this could be though.

What's the texture for the body called? If you have another texture with the same name then the body may be displaying the other texture. If Poser has to search for the texture, it will use the first one it finds.

Thanks... didn't have another ostrich model, but found another ostrich.jpg in the same runtime directory... It's a crappy brown one... Think I can fix this one from here... Cheers, thanks...
