Just thought you would like to know my latest experiments with Infinite. I have found that on a mixed material you can use a video file to control how one material moves over the other. The example is a quick will it work, but I can see many uses for this type of thing. It is just a random black and white pattern saved as an avi and loaded in useing the density tab (animated texture node all settings at default. Will be doing more work on this over the next few days (trying to get a stream running through some hills for example). I have tried this on an eco system but it will not work! videodv.

particles??! Ok here's render using transparency function (underlying material for red) NOTE bug or merely limitation? but applying an ANIMATED texture screws up mapping itseems, note the cubes sides, mapping goes haywire :/

Wow! Great examples guys - especially the particle one. I've got the progam Particle Magic by Wondertouch which can generate waterfalls and render out to an avi. I think I'll give it a try and try and map it to an animate material. Thanks
