Subject: Problem with Mirror Raytrace

See the peculiar diagonal line through the raytrace, as though it's cracked down the middle? Is there a way I can fix that in poser? This is the bathroom from ratracer's cheap hotel room (of course!) and the default mirror.

It may be the polys in the mirror surface. Try placing the One Sided Square in front and see what happens when you use that instead of the mirror.

Hmm, using the one-sided square with the raytracing node applied gives me just a blank black square (and yes, firefly raytracing is on, and I applied the node to the correct object.) Hm, tutorial doesn't seem to have anything specific to this issue, but looks like a good one nevertheless. Thank you. :)

Make sure the square is facing towards the camera, or use the "Normals_Forward" option in P6SR1.
