Subject: Farm animals and Vistanet store

Francemi ( ) posted Wed, 22 June 2005 at 9:35 AM · edited Sat, 25 January 2025 at 3:47 AM

I am still looking for farm animals. I bought the bull and the cow at Poserworks and I found a pig, sheep, goat, hen and rooster at Lyne's Creations (VistaInternet). BUT at Lyne's, they don't offer download and I am very weary of buying stuff that might or might not get here in a reasonable future. Post is SLOW from USA to Quec and sometimes, I don't receive the sent item at all. I put all I would like to buy in my shopping cart and it amounts to over $100US ($150CDN) so it is a lot of money to throw away without any certainty as to the reception of those products. On top of that, I could not find an email address to contact anyone at VistaInternet which is not very reassuring. Do you know of other places where I could find these farm animals? Most important: hen and rooster, and pig (realistic). Thanks. France

Thank you for replying. I would like to know if Canadian residents receive their CDs on time (receive their CDs... period) ;o) I am sure of the quality of Lyne's products as I have many of her freebies and they all are of great quality. France

I bought several CDs from Lyne and they got to me here in Alaska just fine and in a few days. No doubt that Canada should be the same.

I'm from Ontario and have had 100% satisfaction on anything I have purchased from Lyne. Never had any problems whatsoever and you get them very speedily as well! :)

I got them in Germany within about 10 days. Lyne and her husband are very responsive to questions and problems.

I havent bought anything from their site beeing the reason not beeing dowloadable...IMO, they may be discouraging a lot of people to purchase their stuff for this reason...

The no-downloads thing bothered me, too. But Lynne's wildcats were just too amazing to turn down. My CD arrived in just a few days and I'm very happy with the purchase. Now I look at it this way: every other poser store charges for a CD copy of your purchase. The cheapest is $10 including postage. Have you seen what R'osity charges for an account CD burn? Looked at that way, Vista is offering a better service than any other Poser store online. It's only a short delay and you've got the CD forever.

I believe that the reason she doesn't offer downloads is so that she can keep a record of sales.

Hi, I live in Australia and I have purchased quite a few of the products from Vista Net, Never had a problem with the time from when I have purchased my product to when I received the CD in the mail considering as to where I live from them. I think it was always rather quick and efficient. With my last purchase from them, I had a couple of questions and Lyne was very prompt in answering them, even gave me tips on their use. Lyne has had a few health problems recently which she is overcoming and if Lyne reads this thread, hope you have have been successful. However this does not mean that your purchase will not arrive in good time on a CD in the mail, no matter where you live. Just think, you will always have the files on a CD if you ever have to reinstal lol. Service is good from Vista Net and Lyne will always help with any problem you may incur. Cheers, Jan

Do we get an official receipt at least? I mean I pay $150 for a product I might or might not receive in a reasonable timeframe, I would like to be sure that if I don't receive it, I won't have to pay again to get it. I am reassured by your replies but I am still hesitant to pay that amount for something I can't have NOW. Hey! I paid just a few dollars more for Poser 6!!! If you buy for $30 or more, you don't pay for the shipping. Maybe they should offer downloads if you buy for more than let's say $75. I'll think about this in the weekend and make my decision. I would not want the CD to be shipped on a Friday or Saturday anyway. France

Got a very nice invoice with every purchase I have made from her. The CDs are labled with a very nice looking logo too.

Francemi ( ) posted Thu, 23 June 2005 at 3:26 PM

Did you get the invoice by email or was it only included in the CD package?
