heyas; okay, nobody have a heart attack, here. i have an update to my poser goodies page. Bloodsong's Secret Eye Base MAT Files: you probably didn't notice i had a secret eye material base, because... well, i've kept it secret. ;) however, i've gotten tired of always changing the eye base materials back to mine after applying eye MAT files, so in the interest of the bettering of mankind (or, out of laziness), i have decided to release my secret to the world! what these mat files do is change the base colour/highlight/transparency of the basic eye materials, without adding, removing, or changing the texture applied. so zap this onto your figure after applying mat poses that change the eye textures. there's versions for m2/stephanie and m3; if you want v2, you need to edit the material names in the m2 file. basically what it does is make the highlights small and bright, and gives the iris an ambient colour boost, so they are brighter and livlier. also, the cornea is set to black so the white highlights are (theoretically anyway) higher contrast, plus the transparency is slightly lowered, so you can actually see something. Spine Eversion Morphs (M2/M3): ever notice that when you bend forward, your lower spine pokes out? it does! (well, some people ::coughdazcough:: don't notice.) there isn't much to work with on m2/m3's spine, but these morphs make the lumbar region stick out. these are packed in donor files. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. these should also work on any derivative/morph family figures, such as stephanie (for m2) or the generation 3 millennium family. (as i understand it.) Miscellaneous: i've also released my 'angel' texture for m2. this one is based on lyrra's shades of michael series, and features a tattoo of wings on the back. previously only available to 3d menagerie outer sanctum members! ooh! (whaddya mean you dont use m2 any more!? well, it goes good on stephanie, too! oh... you only use stephanie petite? well... foo.) it's free, what're ya complaining about? :) enjoy! oops, okay, i remembered another one only previously available to 3dm outer sanctum members: snowball! Snowball: snowball is a little ball of cuteness disguised as a baby emperor penguin. this is only a prop, but he doesn't move much at any rate, and there are morphs for that. the p5 version has real fuzz!

Am I the only one who has problem with Snowball ? On loading it asks about Runtime:Geometries:3DM:Snowball:snowball.obj and none .obj is found in the archive. Is it only me ? Also, P4 version does a search for textures in really weird folders, but that's a minor since without .obj I can't use it at all ;(

let me check my notes.... okay, the p5 version is using embedded geometry, so that should work. i can't find my snowball obj, so... i'll go extract a new one... should be updated about five minutes from now. thanks villian!

heyas! look, them old people are still around! wow. :) after all that work on the book, i was completely burned out. plus a little lifestyle change-for-the-worse, a big depression.... :: not a big secret, really. anyway, things are a little better, now. im making piccies again. oh... and daz somehow snookered me into doing an expansion pack for the eagle 2. or half of it, anyway, moonrose did the textures. :) prolly wont be lurking much, i have no idea who all these new figures are. dont have poser 6... (heck, i still use 4, its easier.) i'm a year behind y'all. :)

Yeah...Some of us old farts are still around. ;-) That sounds really bad Blood. I assume you had some money problems. But I'm glad you're hangin' in there. We are all in financial trouble these days. The people who aren't yet will be sooner or later. It's going to happen to everyone eventually. So don't feel like you are alone. Friends and family are what matters. Including Internet friends. Ahhh lady here we were both going through the same thing and didn't know it. Although mine was caused by a death, I am still struggling with this major life and lifestyle change. But I have faith that there is a hope and peace somewhere. There just has to be! Keep faith bloodsong, whatever yours may be, it helps. Will be thinking of ya with good wishes! :-) Oh yea, Porcy says 'Heyas' with a very large hug to his favorite lady, second to me of course. ;-)
