Thinking speed and time exposures are two complete different subjects. Unless you capture something going fast using time exposure. I would go with Time Exposure as I want to try this out at night now.
"The happiness of a man in this life does not consist in the
absence but in the mastery of his passions."
I lay my vote on that new category..."Speed &/or timed exposure". God knows i need the practise!!! #:O)
How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when
isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is
supposed to be fire and brimstone?

Speed or Timed Exposure. Next month, song titles. ;] I preferr the latter, but want to push myself, heheh.

If speed or timed exposure wins, you all will be partially responsible for my demise-by-insanity. I spent the better part of 3 nights this past week chasing lightning with a digital. The result was not too bad but far from presentable. I vote for Song Titles but will resolve to do my best with what ever wins! Have a great weekend, Jackie
Okay.I pick antiques/nostalgia.I think that would be really challenging and fun to do...:)

Don't really understand what is meant by speed - do you mean high speed photography like capturing: balloons bursting, glasses breaking, etc. ? I am assuming timed exposure is a long exposure ?

live;
Their heads are green, and their hands are blue, And they went to
sea in a Sieve.

here's some examples from last year:
really, if this topic is picked we really should be more specific & narrow it down... since i just added it at the last minute as suggested, but they are 2 different applications... sorry for the confusion... it's up to you guys...
I agree that needs more definition as to what is the subject so I am voting for....................Song Titles.

I have already voted for "Song Titles"...but have a suggestion if this is the chosen challenge: Will your image bring to thought the song without a title first? That is the difficult part. Considering this site is international, the task is even more difficult. No, there is no song in particular in this thought at the moment. Whatever, bring it on!
oooooohhhhhhh, I really want to try natural fractals, but since nobody else has picked it, I will go with antiques/nostalgia
