If you can find them, there are (at least) two more books by Asimov that might interest you. They are science fact, not fiction. IIRC, one is called "Asimov on the physical sciences" and the other is something like "Asimov on the chemical sciences" (might be "biological sciences"). They are fascinating reading, especially (for me) the chemistry/biology one; on reading that I actually understood DNA and RDNA etc. for the first time! I don't know if they are still available, and my copies went walk-about roughly 15 years ago... I'd love to re-aquire them. Asimov was a great teacher! Cheers, Diolma
I just re-read my post and realised I'd typed "RDNA" instead of "RNA". I think these 3D forums are beginning to affect my thought processes. I know that IA wrote lots more than I recommended (and I have read a lot of them, 'tho probably not all of them, including the Foundation series, as they were published. He's a hero of mine.) I was just pointing out a couple of books that happened to fascinate (and educate me). (End of self-justification/I know more than I think I do bit..)
Cheers,
Diolma
PS. My thought processes are definitely NOT being affected by Asimov's 3 rules, nor by excessive re-fuelling at the alcohol station. (Well, that's my story, and I'm stuck to it..) :-))
