Hey Everyone,

Just letting you know that I have posted a free character for everyone to download. Just follow the attached link and away you go.

I'll be away from the computer until sometime tomorrow, so if you have any questions, you can post them and I'll answer them at that time.

Enjoy!

Very cool, thank you kindly. I'm going to try out the Blacksmith demo too, "heating" parts to shape them is a great idea. :) SnowS

Thank you. The morphing in the blacksmith3d suite is impressive.

Just got the chance to play around with your "Beastie" character. I was most impressed with the mesh simplicity and how well it animated. Thank you very much!

Thanks Kirwyn,

The mesh is the default base mesh that comes with Blacksmith3D-Suite 2.0. I used the "Adjust Joint Parameters..." option when exporting to a CR2 file it to automatically setup the rig.

Because of the "extremeness" of the morph (from the original mesh), I did a few minor joint adjustments which took about 20 minutes. Most notably, the orientation of the head is now 45 degrees forward, instead of straight up. I never had to touch the finger joints, which is a blessing because there are so many of them :S.
