I was opening a .pz3 file from Poser 5 in the new version of Daz Studio that came with Bryce 5.5, and I got the following error message: too many rotational degrees of freedom specified on line 1701497 in c:/blahblahblah.pz3 does anyone know what this error is in regards to? should I worry about it, is there something I can "fix", or just fuhgedabowdit? thanks! ;D

Hi, guys. If you're using DAZ|Studio, you want to make sure that you're using the latest version. However, since the last 2 releases weren't completely compatible with Bryce, they've done a rollback. At the link above, you'll see that you can download version 0.9.23.1, which is compatible with Bryce, and I believe they've taken care of the rotational degrees of freedom problem. I've never been able to recreate that error, so I'm not sure if the poser files I'm importing are boring or if I'm just nt meant to get that error, lol. However, if after you upgrade, DAZ|Studio is still giving you an error, please make sure you sign up and track the problem on the [Bug Tracker](http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=1899). If you need anything else, feel free to ask. ;) MorriganShadow DAZ|Studio Moderator

I think you should be using versiion 0.9.23.1 with bryce 5.5. Thats the version that came with my copy of bryce 5.5 and I havent upgraded it as the latest version apparently broke bryce. I've heard theres a new version in the pipeline which will fix the problem. I've never had that particular error message you had but maybe its because most of my poser sceans are pretty simple.

hrmmmm...I just checked the version I have, and it is 0.9.20.5...but it's the one that was on the cd with my new Bryce 5.5, which I just installed that and this DS last night...sooooo, I should ditch 0.9.20.5 and find 0.9.23.1 ?? ;? is confused hehe

DAZ update their installers when they update their products, but the CD is either slower to update or fixed. Yes, download 0.9.23.1 as I'm pretty sure it fixed some Bryce-related bugs.

I can recreate that error almost anytime I want to just by having something like the warehouse targeted and selecting a pose for V3 but that's not the same error you are talking about mine is an operator error.
