Subject: body disappears when adding clothes

hi all, I am learning Poser 5 and am having a small problem. I want to put clothing on a naked body. When I double-click on a clothing such as bikini-top or shoes, the body disappears and the clothing appears on the workspace. Why is this? Is there something I have to change on settings or preferences? I am unable to find anything in Preferences. Hope someone can help me. Thanks a lot!! Ben

Don't double-click. Double-click means replace in Poser. Use the double check mark (at the bottom of the library palette) instead.

You might find the "Poser Forum FAQ" (at the top of this page) useful. It covers this and many other questions.

I imagine that you're double-clicking the icon in the libray: this replaces the current figure in the view window. Instead, single-click the clothing icon, scroll to the bottom of the library panel and click the double-tick icon - this will add the new figure, instead of just replacing the current one.

Don't double click. Instead single click on the item and then single click on the double checkmark at the bottom.

I can tell that you read the manual!!!! :) hehe They got it wrong! As the others have said, use the double checkmark to add a figure.

able to know ourselves fully as we are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to say." - Ghandi
