Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(
Food for thought.....

Trekkie - the Save as... button is enabled only when you are viewing a DAZ|Studio content directory (D|S won't show both types of file at the same time to avoid confusion, and as you've found it can't save Poser files, so no button in poser folders). The data for the pose in a Pose preset is (as long as you save an ASCII .ds file and not a compressed .dsb file) pretty easy to find - it should be trivial for one of the Python gurus to write a script that would read in the .ds file and apply it to the selected Poser figure, I'd think: it's on my "to do" list but there are lots of things (like actually learning Python) ahead of it.

Is it? It was my understanding that the format D|S uses would be hard to for an outsider to de-compile.
If it's that easy, I'm surprised no one's done it yet. There seems to be a demand for it.
Oooooooooooh! The .ds files are indeed text files! GAH! Any pythoneers around?! I'd even PAY to have this translated to Poser as it is part of a pose set I'm planning to sell eventually... and the ability to pose the characters in DS would seriously speed up the process!! PLEASE?!!?

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA
Using Poser since 2002. Currently at Version 11.1 - Win 10.
Try to PM ockham, nruddock or Tguyus, they're three of the resident Python gurus. And I'd suggest posting your message in the Poser Python scripting forum, a good chance someone will pick it up and write you a script.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
Thanks for the tip :) I allready posted the request in the Poser Python forum too :o)

Thing is, I find it easier to pose characters in Daz Studio, but in general I prefer my Poser (old habits are hard to break, I guess) But as far as I can see, there's no way of saving finished Poses in Daz Studio - yes there's a Save As... but that button does nothing, and th Save as -> Pose set in the save menu saves a Daz Studio Script of some kind, someting, I'm sure, Poser can't read. SO.. if you've got something made (could also be a character) or posed in Daz Studio, is there ANY way (short of exporting it as a static obj) to get that into Poser? Please tell me I'm missing something. I'd LIKE to save these poses...
