Subject: Repeated download problems

JWFokker ( ) posted Thu, 11 August 2005 at 9:10 PM · edited Wed, 27 November 2024 at 8:27 AM

I've tried multiple times to download several products I just purchased, and they simply won't complete their downloads. Now I can't even attempt to download them. It says my IP has been logged and all this. I don't usually have this problem, but tonight it's happening with every download. Why can't I use something like Download Accelerator Plus to resume my downloads when the connection gets dropped or times out?

I've reset your downloads. Please let me know if you continue to have problems. If you do have problems, please let me know what browser you're using. Deb

Firefox 1.0.5. For some reason this site keeps crashing Firefox, and it didn't used to. I've been using this version of Firefox for a while too.

Not yet, but I will now. My download just hung up again. Strange I'm having problems all of a sudden.

Let me know if you have problems using IE. I'm sorry I don't have an explanation as to why it's not working for you. Deb

Well, I was able to download everything this time out, admittedly with IE. It is a bit later now, so maybe it was web traffic. Hard to say. If I have problems next time I use Firefox, I'll know to stick to IE. Thanks for the reset.
