Subject: designing outfits

Newbie guy here does any one know of a software or freeware package that i could use to design my own outfits for freak, mike,& victoria like fantasy armour,helmets,weapons etc, that would work with daz|studio thanks.

Try Wings3D. I've seen people do some amazing things with it and it is relatively simple to use.

At the moment you can make only props in D|S - the ability to rig will require at least the SDK (promised some time after version 1.0) and, depending on what that includes, you may need to wait for some tools to be made. Helemts and pieces of armour, and waepons, should be doable as props - things that bend smoothly (like a chainmail coat, for example) will have to wait - learning to model will set you up nicely, though.
