Fractals F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 13 3:03 pm)
When I would do Apo post, I would duplicate the base layer, 3 or four times. Add noise to one, a texture effect to two maybe, then maybe add a laquer filter to one, merging and playing with transparencies to suit...til I had an image I liked. Then I would flatten them, and start the process over, this time duplicating the flattened image several times, adding contrast, saturation, blurs, etc. Make sense? I realise I could do work arounds in PS or whatever, but I'm trying to stay pure to UF. But I think SimonKaye summed it up.

Curious... Any way to merge (flatten) layers in UF? Similar to PS or PSP...merge all, merge visible, etc. For example, if I have an image 10 layers deep, can I merge that into one layer, and then start adding more layers on top of it? Gary
