There's a whole bunch of Bryce tutorials in Renderosity's Tutorial section (linked from the top of every page) plus tons more on the web. The best place to start is brycetech.com - quite simply, Brycetech rules :-) Good luck and have fun, camyou'll get used to 'screen-edge hammering'..repeatedly smashing your mouse against the upper edge of the screen to get the menus to come down..just something peculiar (very) to Bryce..;) Ask us, we can be helpful, or at least mostly harmless..and you can import Rhino models in, and texture them with Bryce materials, so there's a start..;)
I wish I'd said that.. The Staircase Wit

Import some of your Rhino models and render them. I usually use the obj format because it is very Bryce friendly. You will also want to check out the freestuff for additional Bryce 5 material presets. Sometimes it is fun to just make landscapes too. Dont forget to pickup "Real World Bryce 4" at the link in the header. It applies to 99 percent of what you will encounter in Bryce 5. I second what was said prev. about Brycetech.

Can you IM me an email address so I can send you one of my rhino models that was exported in obj format with version 2. I would like to see if one of my models will import into Bryce on your computer. On Bryce you are importing from the file menu and not the create button right?

Alright, here it is. I got Bryce 5 last night. I installed it last night. I ran it today, no problems (except that it doesnt take the whole screen, which I find odd). Unfortunately, any futile attempt at making anything has resulted in something along the lines of "Oh, hmm... I dont know". I like the way Bryce does its job, but I cant do anything with it. im looking for any kind of help, though preferably tutorials to show me how ANYTHING works in this program. Ive been using Rhino3D for years but wanted to look into something new. Any help is appreciated!
