lol...my poser figures are hiding.....I don't know what is happening but last night poser was working fine...then this morning I fire it up and now none of my figures will appear on the screen. it tells me they are there but the screen is blank...if I move the cursor around it highlights them but no matter what I do they won't become visible screaming and tearing my hair out don't hlep...anyone got any ideas how I can fix this without having to completly reinstall my poser....that would put me out of action for a long time as my runtime folder is about 20 gigs

Sorry, to sound like a pain in the ass, but I will ask the insulting question here to start. Well, you've fired it up, so I'll ask the first question do you have Norton's System Utilities installed on the computer ? I ask because of a helpful little product called "Go Back" That is I'm assuming you have a WINDOWS OS. Sometimes it pays to back-up.. PLEASE except this in the helpful manner in which it should be taken, ain't trying to be smart. I ask due to others experiences with Poser I read time and time again it wasn't until ver 6.0 that people have continued to report it full of bugs. Again, Do You have Norton's 'Go Back' Installed to all of your PCs or systems ??? It's not too hard to comprehend where I'm going with this .. ..

I understand fully what you are saying but no...I dont have the nortons go back installed...I was going to back up my runtime but it is so big it would have taken a hellva lot of cd's so I just never got round to it. I have been given a quick sort of fix which is just to move my runtime folder to a different place on my hard drive and then unistall and reinstall poser and then replace the libraies only ...that way I don't have to reinstall all my poser stuff. so that is what I am going to do...thanks for your help

What version of Poser is it? I've heard of this effect with Pro Pack, but that's associated with having large amounts of memory. I assume you haven't upgraded anything recently? Margot? The Nudity and Violence flags are for messages which contain nudity and violence respectively.

bob...it is pro pack and no I hadn't upgraded or changed anything just closed it down and when I reopened it that had happened....I found out though in another forum that apparently there is a large memory patch upgrade for poserpro which will stop that from happening again so I am going to get that and install it ...but for now I have simply moved my runtime and then reinstalled just the libraies and the stuff I need...works fine now thanks for everyones input
