Subject: EXPORT FROM DAZ FORMATS TO OTHERS

Is possible export (not wavefront obj) from DAZ native formats to pz2 or another formats? I dont know if there is some plugin for this. Thanks.

As far as I know there is actually no other format that can be exported apart the wavefront (obj) format. You also can directly import in Bryce and save the content of the scene in Bryce format but I do not think that this will help you more.

Not yet. Stewer has a Python script that will read a .ds pose preset into Poser if you save it in ASCII format (5) and more may become possible once the SDK is available, though there may be legal obstacles as well as the coding to deal with.

I suspect that, if enough D|S users request it, Daz may end up making a plugin to add more export options...

I believe that once the SDK comes out, the original ads for D/S stated that plugins for things like Max, Lightwave and others would be produced and become available. Tho its been a long time since the original ad was put out and memory being what it is ......... :D

Warmest Regards,

Dallas

Yes I'm also waiting for a plugin for Lightwave.
