WHOOOOOOOOOOO...back at last!!!!!!...got the shakes..!anyway...thought this book might be of interest to anyone whose intersted in the world of freelance!

..worth a read anyway!!

I need to learn how to market my stuff. I'm horrible at it! Of course, I'm not sure anyone would want to buy my stuff. :P Thanks for the tip, Jimbo. Cynlee....you sold a photo?! Give us the details!! I get so excited when someone gets published or sells their art. :)~

yeah...my book Kort...invaluable reading....most informative and a great insight...explains clearly on the type of images that sell and why!...one to get imho!

a not-so-mainstream musician & their design artist from NY got a hold of me through Photo-Genesis & my website & finally here at RR, requesting a photo that was already posted, to use for her CD cover.. sounded pro & sincere, so I went for it & was pleased with the final design... done deal now.. check's in the mail & she'll be sending a copy of the CD when released...

sorry to take away from the book Jimbo, didn't mean to steal the thread, but I've come so close before & lost it in the transactions that by now I was all but ready to give one away! but i am happy with the amount she quoted & hope it will generate more work since my name & cynlee-studios is credited on the CD :]

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

ah well it wasn't one of my better ones, from 2 yrs ago, "Bluebonnet Country"... took me a bit to find the original & then i redid it.. but i wasn't going to argue, lol :] ...as isolated as i am i was happy the sites were enough to drum up the business... so it's possible to sell your photos without ever traveling too far :] thanks guys!!!

Well i think that Amazon.uk can ship overseas, but im pretty sure that the us-one doesnt. I might be wrong though. Will have to look into that.

Just love the UK... "usually dispatched within 24 hours." (in the US) "Usually ships within 24 hours." But to get back on track a bit, the book with the martini glass on it is copyrighted in 2001...I figure that's 5 years old. Any concerns?

Yeah...I'm getting the 5 year old book. I didn't see a more recent edition so if Jim says it is still worth it, that is good enough for me. Hey cyn, why not start a thread and post your CD cover so we all can see it? I'm so curious!
