Subject: More Than One Material on a Body?

Hi all, Does anyone know of a way to use more than one material on a body. The Material Room just shows "body", no individual body parts. For example, would there be any way to make the legs shiny (reflective) and the rest of the body just be the regular body map? I am using Poser 6. Thanks!

What character? they should already have material zones set up.

If the figure has body parts, but all are assigned to the Body material, you can use the grouping tool to reassign. Select one of the legs first. Hit the grouping tool. Hit 'Assign Material' and fill in a name, like ShinyStuff. Select the other leg, hit 'Assign Material' and fill in the same name. Exit the grouping tool and use the material room to give colors, reflectivity, etc to ShinyStuff.

Wow, thanks, but now I have another question. Is it possible to get rid of the jaggies. I tried a transparency map but results are not good, as you can see. I get a darker brown color on the skin that is part of the new group, but is excluded via the trans map. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

This figure is Jesse (hiRes) from Poser 6.

You can also use simple black/white maps and blender nodes in the material room to use different material properties on a figure. Any parameter in the material rooms can be controlled with maps.
