What little animations I have done, I export out of Bryce as images, and then encode later. When encoding, can't you just set the fps higher than 30? AS

Well, the problem is that it takes about a day to cach in WMP (at school). but even then it play slow. the 16sec movie turns to a 30 minute frame by frame drag out.

What's your frame size? And, what are you encoding it as? AS

Frame size is a major factor. I have a quicktime movie with a pretty large frame size that freezes a lot but after several runs is finally smooth.

At the largest (so far), I render out to fit DVD specs; 720x480 (which is USA NTSC). Sometimes, I render to fit a small PC screen resolution(800x600), but mostly I take my little animations, and burn them to DVD to play on my television. I'm sure at some point I'll render out larger, if only to take advantage of some HD rig I could play my animations on, lol. ;o) AS

900 x 675 and uncompressed (.AVI)

Hmmmm, what fits that frame size? Perhaps if you did compress it, it would play more easily? (I'm not actually sure of that suggestion, never actually tried to see whether or not an uncompressed avi pulls more cpu power than a compressed one) AS
