My girlfriend that i love with all my heart. the love of my life. has told me a couple of weeks ago that she has advanced breast cancer. i started praying that she will be able to beat it and now. she has given me the sad news that when she went in for a follow up yesterday that the docs told her that cancer has gone terminal. burts out crying. so please pray for Rose for me. pray that she will servive this. i will not give up hope. i will try to stay strong as best i can do. i love her sooo much and im so devoted to her that i want her to live so that we can be together. so please pray for her for me. god bless her. chris

I'm so sorry to hear this and you will both be in my thoughts and prayers. Tell her to keep a positive attitude and that doctors have been known to be wrong many times.

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

Some people worry about offending their doctor, but it wouldn't hurt to seek a second opinion from another physician. This is too critical to accept one doctor's prognosis. There are so many advanced treatments these days. I used to be in Cancer Statistics as a career is how I got my nickname "Carcinogen" here. And in my experience from cancer work, I can tell you, miracles DO happen. The human will to survive FAR outweighs any chemo they can give. But I saw it all the time. People CAN beat the odds. I will also be praying for you and Rose. Don't give up hope. Tim

I will pray for her... please... please... do not give up hope... sometimes doctors say things like that...'terminal'... but the most important thing is to have hope... Our family underwent the same thing... it took many many years till our son came out from cancer... I put an image a long time ago into my library... I hope that will chear you up...

I will put her on the prayer list at church and also other churches and friends. Don't give up hope, my brother-in-law was told a year ago that he had 4 months and he is cancer free today. And yes, seek a second opinion. Marque

My 75yr old aunt recently overcame a bout with lung cancer, so it's quite possible that the same could happen for Rose. Honestly, seek 4 or 5 opinions for something this serious and NEVER give up hope! Godspeed to you both!

Also in medicine you never know what new advance is just around the corner that might just turn things around. But anyway, life is short for all of us, so make the most of the time you have together. I believe in the power of positive thinking and the power of prayer...we will all pray and send our positive energy in her direction...but...tell her NOT to give up hope Chris...tell her to focus all her positive energy on thoughts of healing, to visualize the positive energy devouring the cancer...to sort of meditate and actually visualize it every day, or several times a day...there are stranger things have happened...there is so much in this world we do not understand Chris, unexplained phenomenon, and I have heard of 'mind over matter' having an effect...so tell her to join with all of us and let's try to overcome this!!! sending caring {{hugggs}}, prayers & positive energy...Karen

Never give up hope. It's the lack of hope that is "terminal", not illness. Do not lose hope, see how many of us belive in you, in miracles? Good luck to you both.

There is no question in my mind that positive thinking and a strong will to beat this is what helped me through my Cancer and subsequent treatment. Keep the faith.
