I found DS has bug when ex[porting to BVH, sometimes DS fails to output the motion data, only the hirarchy text part, so I figure the patch may deal with this. I hope someone got the patch can help me. I did dld the patch, but can't find it no more as it is long time ago.

LOL... PP, I have the patch... Remember you helped me with this exact same problem about a month ago. I can send you the patch but it does nothing for the problem and it totally screwed up my installation of DS and I had to reinstall. This problem seems to happen if your dancer goes outside of the barrier lines. When you export to BVH move your dancer to the middle of the stage to prevent it going over the barrier. Works 9 times out of ten. Email me if you require the patch. colm_j@yahoo.com Colm...

Hey yall, I got me DS after seeing your discussion last month, and I can't get it to export BVH at all! I've made a dance and rendered it, but the bvh export button just does nothing. System is P2 450, 128MB, Win98SE. Only things I can think of are that I have DX7 (installer says DX is installed, but of course it is trying to install DX6) and I have it installed on my F drive (no room on C). I asked Colm to send me the patch to try (TIA!), but I was wondering if you folks had any other ideas? Thanks!

Oh no, I just bought it too! 8.95 was such a steal. I haven't installed it yet, so could you explain what isn't working? I got the patch, but I sure don't want to use it if it means having to uninstall it...

DS does expoprt BVH, but 50% in my case, Colm's suggestion worths a try, keep the character in the stage. DS is the only progy to let you edit BVH by program, despite in dance style motions.

I am not sure how DS export BVH? 1, when we hit the save as BVH or 2, after we save it as BVH and DS play the dance automatically, it seems to me DS will record the action I throw the props on the character.

DS seems failure to export BVH after a few successful Export. I reistall and it works again. And I can combine different dance style with the ids file.
