Subject: Geo switching problem...

Hey gang. I'm trying to add geo switching to a figure, but when I activate it, it looks like its creating copies of the chest, and head groups.. any idea what would cause this error?

Were you trying to create a geometry-swapping head and chest, or is that a side effect?

Make certain your alternateGeom references are pointing to the proper OBJ files.

The code should look something like this:

   alternateGeom    Pendant_2<br></br>          {<br></br>           name Pendant_2<br></br>              objFile 1001 :Runtime:Geometries:Furrette2:Pendant02.obj<br></br>            }<br></br>   alternateGeom    Pendant_3<br></br>          {<br></br>           name Pendant_3<br></br>              objFile 1002 :Runtime:Geometries:Furrette2:Pendant03.obj<br></br>            }<br></br>   alternateGeom    Pendant_4<br></br>          {<br></br>           name Pendant_4<br></br>              objFile 1003 :Runtime:Geometries:Furrette2:Pendant04.obj<br></br>            }

Nope. I was geo switching the hip, thighs, legs and feet. The geo file is switching to the proper obj file, but it almost looks like "ghost" obj objects are appearing.

I might take you up on that, Phil. Let me root around on it a little more first, and see if I can figure it out on my own. I added the code with easypose underground, and it's usually pretty reliable about things like this...

Figured it out.. I had saved the new hip section out with more geometry then th ehip group. Guess 3:30 am projects aren't always a good idea?? ;)

Well, this one started at 8:am that day.. it was an all day thing, with breaks for dinner, and a movie with the wife. I couldn't sleep, so hit the keyboard again.
