Subject: Trying to run "water" down a pipe...

I'm having trouble with particles in metaball form going down a pipe. It breaks out of the object - even though I have all objects set to collide. Any ideas? I have to render again... too big. But it is dropping out the bottom of the pipe on a 45 degree slant.

Never Give Up!

A few things to note about particles and collision objects: -Increase the poly count of collision objects if having problems with collisons. Objects that have low poly counts can sometimes not have enough of a surface for good accurate collisions. The result is pass through. -Watch what mass setting you use as boosting it up too high will push the particles through collision objects.

Another thing is that the collion is calculated from the particles HOT point and so the mass around the hotpoint will sometimes go through the other object until the hotpoint hits.
