Still haven''t heard from eovia about the final. Sent an email to tech support but haven't heard a wrod from them. The Beta information came through on this email they have fine and I've checked the spam folder on the server, nothing there. Really depressed if everyone else had gotten their copy! Please let me know so I can take some more active steps. thanks mike

I did the same and they messaged me back stating to use that download link form the old email. The one I received had (BETA) next to every download link on the page. Look for the link that says (Full download (beta)). That one worked for me.

The correct address to direct your problem is listed as one of the new threads at Yahoo/Carrara Forum site. Many others having similar problems--the list of those to whom the download information should have been sent appears to have partly gone missing!!!

No you are certainly not the only one, I ordered my copy on november 7th and havent got anything yet. I have contacted elements5 regarding the order and I will also write to eovia and let them know how I feel about the way this thing is handled.

So far since Saturday I've sent emails to eovia (customer service and the address given on the yahoo groups) adn to element 5. I've recieved 1 reply, and automated emailform element 5 instructing me not to send multiple emails on the same subject. I realize some of those emails were sent on a weekend, but it would be nice to get at least an acknowledgement that they were recieved, by Tuesday. mike

So far I have emailed tech support twice no reply called tech support twice they said that everyone should have recieved there email by now and said they would get back to me the same day and havnt, I sent a email to sales and no reply, I ordered my version on the 30th of october. This will teach me for pre ordering, I didn't have any problems getting the beta but now that the final release is out it seems they dont even what talk to me. I ordered Truespace 7 a couple of days ago and its not expected to be released until Thursday, Hope that I can get Carrara before I get TS7.

Yup! Another one still waiting. I purchased C4 for the upgrade 29th Oct. I've not bothered with emails yet, I just can't be doing with the extra hastle just now. I'll wait a few more days before I pursue it - right now I recon they're getting swamped in emails, so I'll let the dust settle first.

I sent an email to eovia about the fact that I am still waiting. They stated that those who purchased the C4 and C5 no charge upgrade will start getting emails on Dec 14. paul g

Pauldg: they told me the 19th Anyone else that did the 'Buy C4 get C5 free' offer, resend your email to the Eovia upgrade address mentioned in the offer. I got a rapid reply when I did so. For the impatient (like me), the demo is now available.

Check your "Junk Mail" folders. That's where my download message ended up! MS Outlook has a mind of it's own -- and not a very good one at that!

R_Hatch ( ) posted Wed, 14 December 2005 at 2:56 PM

I think that's only those who were eligible for the beta version. Apparently, the beta link email also contained the link to the final version. I've checked and double-checked my junk folders and saw nothing (except for spam, which belongs there). The Carrara 4 download link emails don't contain links to Carrara 5. It looks like MSN and AOL have over-zealous junk filters, but Yahoo's is fairly accurate (I rarely find spam in my inbox, or legit mail in the bulk folder).

As I said in another thread. Mine showed up last night, came to thesame email address as I used for the beta (ad no the beta links didn't work for me, went to disabled pages). mike
