Subject: Anyone Using CR Pro II?

Tomsde ( ) posted Fri, 16 December 2005 at 8:45 PM · edited Fri, 10 January 2025 at 11:21 AM

I've seen CR Pro II advertised and want to know what experience anyones had with it. I've had some problems with Poser and D/S now being able to find file references. Is this safe to use with my Poser 6 and 4 Pro Pack applications? I understand this program will help my runtime run better. Any feedback?

It's the most valuable utility I have. I have absolutely no regrets in purchasing it.

I use it, Tech Support is good. It needs you to get into the guts of your database to do the occasional manual tweaking (such as when the databases get corrupted), but ask the software author and he'll sort you out !

I use it for Poser Artist (= P4) and now P6. It helped me find the references (which PDOExplorer will also do), but it can also tell you if you've got files (such as texture files) which are no longer used by any of your poser-type files, and you can remove those, save hard disk space.

I find it useful.

I moved all of the injection files to one location and used CR Pro II to fix all the references. I do not use a outside runtime until I've ran the program and corrected any errors in the files. If you use multiple runtimes it is a must have program.

I've had one or two little bobbles using it (mostly becasue I have a VERY complicated runtime) But both times Howard got back to me right away with solutions I recomend this program highly .. if you seriously use poser, you seriously need this program.

You might want to check out his own website www.hogsoft.com. But yes, CRPro II works well, and can handle PP and P6 runtimes, either separtely or together. It is essential code if you want a clean Runtime. (CRPro II finds a large number of issues with P6 Runtime - out-of-the-box!)

It saved my poser runtime - it was so slow that it was really unusable, and it fixed it so it runs quickly. It needs to be run on a regular basis (especially if you move things around a lot) and there is a learning curve in figuring out how to use the program. Well worth the money.

I bought the program and it has been a harrowing experience for me so far. I've had to reinstall a contents because they wouldn't load anymore and I had a very hairy time with some of the Poser 6 stuff. dfI have 3 runtimes and it's a bit confusing and I hope I don't end up having to reinstall everything all over again.
